FUSE VALLEY project is one of the four finalists, in the Best New Development category, for the MIPIM Awards. This year, the jury will award projects committed to sustainability and integrated into the environment and the community.
About this recognition, Bjarke Ingels (Founder & Creative Director, BIG) mentions: “We’re incredibly excited about the nomination of FUSE VALLEY for this year’s MIPIM Awards. FUSE VALLEY will be a lively urban ensemble bringing businesses, curators, creators, customers and collaborators together in the most innovative new neighbourhood of Portugal. The urban fabric will allow FUSE VALLEY to grow and expand organically and we hope that the MIPIM Jury will recognize the qualities of this new community village on the slopes of the Leça River in Porto.”
This development, surrounded by the new urban park and organized around squares and open gardens, will host a range of offices and a variety of services to facilitate the day-to-day life of its users and the local community.
Paulo Castro (CEO, Castro Group) says: “The nomination of FUSE VALLEY at the MIPIM Awards recognizes the uniqueness of this project, which we will develop in Matosinhos, and places this space on the international map of what is best done both in terms of sustainability, both in terms of innovation. Being among the four finalists is also a source of pride and an incentive for the entire team dedicated to this project.”
MIPIM 2023 takes place from March 14th to 17th in Cannes, France. This event, dedicated to the real estate market, is already considered the largest real estate fair in the world. Here, the most influential players in the real estate sector at an international level will gather, and participants will have access to a considerable number of projects and sources of capital from various parts of the world.
Castro Group will be present and be part of Greater Porto – an entity that unites the municipalities of Porto, Matosinhos and Vila Nova de Gaia – making known some of its current projects.
