In a symbiosis between the bustle of the city and the calm of nature, imagination takes us to the new FUSE VALLEY.
This project, based on the Sustainability, Innovation, and Wellbeing pillars, has the signature of the Danish architecture office BIG—Bjarke Ingels Group.
FUSE VALLEY connects people, spaces, ideas, talents, companies, and partners. Here, we create a living space to be and to want to stay. Only then will we build a world where knowledge communes with happiness.
Motivated by their growth projections in 2018, Farfetch challenged the Castro Group to develop a revolutionary space together. Once the idea was embraced, the ideal location was found, and the concept and the pillars of the project were created, which gained shape through an international architectural competition. That is how FUSE VALLEY was born. This development will host a hotel, amenities, and offices promoted by Castro Group.
This development is designed not only for the people who will work there every day but also for the local community, which will be able to enjoy its plazas, gardens, and amenities.
"FUSE VALLEY is the perfect interpretation of our golden rule, applied to all our projects: location, innovation, sustainability, and technology. What we are going to do in Matosinhos is something unique and that puts this space on the international map of what is best done both in terms of sustainability and in terms of innovation. With this project, we intend to develop a smart city, or in this case, a smart valley." - Paulo Castro, CEO Castro Group
The architectural play between the areas and levels of the site, the lower areas and the river, remind us of a Valley and, almost like in one breath, we are transported into a green ample space which embraces nature, wellbeing and movement.
Because we believe in human potential, we want to build happier ways of working.
